Grab some lunch before the parade at any of your favorite Greektown restaurants!
1:30 p.m. Dignitary Reception
Atheneum Suite Hotel and Conference Center - 1000 Brush Street, Detroit, MI 48226
2:00 p.m. Parade Vehicles and Floats Lineup near Campus Martius Park
2:40 p.m. Parade Staging and Lineup Parade spectators:
Get a great spot along the parade route on Monroe Street, between Brush and St. Antoine Streets.
Parade participants: Please be lined up (near Campus Martius Park) no later than 2:45
3:00 p.m. 21st Annual Detroit Greek Independence Day Parade Kicks Off
We are honored to have with us †His Eminence Metropolitan Nicholas and our Grand Marshall, Tony Manolias to lead our annual tradition this year, celebrating Greece and Greek-American culture in Metro Detroit, Michigan and beyond.
Danielle Caralis will sing the National Anthems of Greece, the United States, and Canada.
4:00 p.m. Post-Parade Dance Groups
Stick around for some after-performance fun with our dance groups.
